SUPEROBOTURBO
Jordy van den Nieuwendijk was born and grew up in the Netherlands. His real name is Superoboturbo. "Super" reflects the power of his ambition, passion and motivation for everything he turns his hand to; "Robo" stands for the mass of data in his head (his grey matter is like an undefragmented hard disk filled with strange memories and images); and "Turbo" is the speed at which he lives life.
Superoboturbo has produced for Kindergallery five illustrations representing a series of vivid imaginary dreamscapes. The works are limited edition prints on archival paper. Superoboturbo hopes that, in your dreamtime, you will come and play with his robot friends and their fantastical menagerie.
Each work is hand signed and numbered.
Superoboturbo is currently at the Royal Academy of Arts in the Hague ( KABK). In his spare time, he works as a freelance illustrator.
