Kristin Loffer Theiss
Kristin Loffer Theiss was born on Earth but prefers to inhabit a different world, called “Planet Dot”. Located in an alternative dimension somewhere in the Northwest of the U.S.A, Planet Dot is the place Kristin goes to allow her artistic thoughts to metamorphose into gorgeous creatures and take flight.
Kristin has brought back from Planet Dot a series of vibrant watercolour and cut paper artworks. The collection captures Planet Dot’s well known characters – including Ollie the Owl, Dewey Long Legs, Kiki the Cat and Lou the Snail – in moments which are at once joyful, thoughtful and thought-provoking.
The limited edition cut paper and watercolour prints are printed on white, heavyweight archival paper with archival pigment inks. Each work is signed and numbered by Kristin and editions are limited to 250 per print.
These original artworks perfectly complement the hand-sewn "Flights of
Fancy" and the "Crawling Critters" mobiles also made by Kristin and
offered by Kindergallery.
