Kate George
When the circus last came to town, Scottish illustrator and graphic designer Kate George was especially captivated by the baby giraffe taking its first steps and the clever tricks of the baby seals. She has combined her illustrations of these animals with fun 70s-style designs, cleverly mixing digital editing with a traditional feel. Her works are mounted on a high quality canvas frame and sealed with layers of liquid acetate and acrylic varnish. This creates a durable finish, which is particularly handy if there are baby humans around.
